SKINCARE

-Your skin is your body’s largest organ. Wear sunscreen and protective clothing when outside.

-Get regular skin cancer screenings.

-use gentle anti aging products for your regular skin care routine

-STAY HYDRATED


EXERCISE

-Regular exercise significantly lowers your risk of diseases such as heart disease and cancer.

-Exercise lowers stress, improves sleep, bone, skin and mental health.

-Senior adults should also do activities involving balance training in addition to aerobic and muscle strengthening exercises.

-A few examples of aerobic activity are walking, swimming, dancing and cycling.

Muscle and bone strengthening exercises can performed using weights or resistance bands.


DIET

Healthy foods are so important when it comes to aging gracefully.

-fruits and vegetables. fresh, frozen, or canned

-lean protein, such as fish, chicken and beans

-whole-grain cereals, breads, rice, or pasta.

-low-fat or fat-free dairy that are fortified with vitamin D. milk, yogurt or cheese.

-healthy fats like salmon, chia seeds, nuts and avocados.



Mental health matters

-Meaningful relationships improve mental and physical well-being and longevity.
